Who We Are
Loving Care Transitional Home, LLC, dba Loving Care Services started as a licensed-care and service provider since by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) in 2007. We have since evolved from being a licensed and monitored provider of adult family homes to being certified as an authorized Medicaid Provider by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and an authorized Agency Provider for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
Our Director of Nursing, and Administrator/Director both bring to the table varied health care and business experiences, having worked in long-term care, hospitals, and the home health environments with combined experience of over 35 years.
Loving Care Transitional Home, LLC, dba Loving Care Services offers skilled nursing, and general home health care to respond to current demographic trends in Ohio (across America) as the first of the “Baby Boomers” approach and reach the retirement age resulting in an increase in a need for assistance with daily living activities. Indeed, Loving Care’s service area includes one of the fastest growing and most affluent communities in the state, according to recent census figures. The census figures indicate that individuals in this area have more disposable income than in other Ohio communities, are better educated than the average Ohioan and are concerned about making informed health-care decisions.
Loving Care Transitional Home, LLC, dba Loving Care has been certified an accredited as a Medicare certified home health provider since 2013. As such, our service delivery is based on “customized” service, as much as feasible, paying particular attention to establishing a health care partnership with clients and their families. To keep abreast of current health care trends, Loving Care associates have teamed with other local health care providers to share best professional practices; our agency also participates in community health care forums to take advantage of community resources as a means of responding to our clients’ needs. This way, everyone is involved in accomplishing the same health and wellness goal. We believe our clients’ health care should be developed through education and service initiatives, as a well-informed client will bring the most effective result for everyone.
Our agency is supervised by a Board of Directors. Clinical services, as required by Medicare, are supervised by our Medical Director, an Ohio-Board registered physician, with assistance from an on-site Director of Nursing, and a nursing board registered nurse. Other services are subcontracted on an “as needed” basis. Such contracted services consist of both clinical and administrative services such as therapy, health care compliance and developmental disabilities services.
